Simply Red | Big Love | CD

Simply Red is a British soul and pop band formed in Manchester in 1984 by lead vocalist and songwriter Mick Hucknall, with three former members of The Durutti Column, Sylvan Richardson and Fritz McIntyre. The band signed to Elektra Records and released its debut album Picture Book in October 1985. By 1996 Hucknall was the only remaining original member, and after being dropped by EastWest in 2000 the band set up the website simplyred.com, which became its own label. Their biggest hits include It's Only Love and If You Don't Know Me By Now, both from 1989.

Big Love is the eleventh studio album by the British pop soul group Simply Red, released on CD on 1 June 2015 by simplyred.com. It debuted at number four in the UK Albums Chart and includes the single Shine On. Andy Wright and Mick Hucknall produced the album, and Jim McWilliam conducted the orchestra.
