Simply Red | Blue Eyed Soul | CD

Simply Red is a British soul and pop band formed in Manchester in 1984 by lead vocalist and songwriter Mick Hucknall, with three former members of The Durutti Column, Sylvan Richardson and Fritz McIntyre. The band signed to Elektra Records and released its debut album Picture Book in October 1985. By 1996 Hucknall was the only remaining original member, and after being dropped by EastWest in 2000 the band set up the website simplyred.com, which became its own label. Their biggest hits include It's Only Love and If You Don't Know Me By Now, both from 1989.

Blue Eyed Soul is the twelfth studio album by the British band Simply Red, released on CD on 8 November 2019 by BMG. Andy Wright produced the album, and it contains ten new tracks written by Mick Hucknall.
