Small Faces | Small Faces-40Th Annivers | CD

Small Faces is an English rock band from East London, formed in 1965 by Steve Marriott, Ronnie Lane, Kenny Jones and Jimmy Winston, with Ian McLagan replacing Winston as keyboardist by 1966. The band was initially influenced by American rhythm and blues and is remembered as one of the most influential mod groups of the 1960s, with hits such as Itchycoo Park, Lazy Sunday, All or Nothing and Tin Soldier. They evolved into one of the UK's most successful psychedelic acts of the late 1960s before disbanding in early 1969.

This is a 1 CD remastered reissue of the Small Faces album, released by Decca in 2006. The first twelve tracks come from the band's 1966 LP of the same name, tracks 13 to 17 are from 1965 and 1966 singles, and tracks 18 to 23 are alternate versions. The original album was recorded at IBC Studios in London between June 1965 and February 1966.
