Sonic Flower | Sonic Flower | LP

Sonic Flower were formed as a side project of Church of Misery in 2001. Tatsu Mikami played bass and Takenori Hoshi, Church of Misery's guitarist at the time, played guitar, aiming for a bluesy, non doomy instrumental heavy rock sound. The band was influenced by 1970s heavy rock bands including Cactus, Grand Funk Railroad, Groundhogs and Savoy Brown.

This is a single disc vinyl LP, a 45 RPM repress released by Heavy Psych Sounds on February 24, 2023. It is the self-titled debut album by Sonic Flower, an instrumental heavy rock record with improvised double guitar solos and a cover of the blues classic Going Down, with all other tracks original.
