Soundgarden | Telephantasm | CD

Soundgarden formed in 1984 in Seattle, Washington, USA, and was one of the early bands to record for Sub Pop. The band is generally regarded as a founding father of the grunge genre, although much of its work had a more hard rock and metallic nature than later grunge bands. Chris Cornell, the band's vocalist, was found dead in May 2017.

Telephantasm is a single CD compilation by Soundgarden released by A&M Records in Europe in 2010. It is a career retrospective that includes the unreleased track Black Rain, taken from the Badmotorfinger recording sessions. The project was supervised by Kim Thayil.
