Stories From A Flying Trunk | Various Artists | DVD

Stories from a Flying Trunk is a film that blends choreography, stop-motion and live action to present three classic stories by Hans Christian Andersen. It was conceived, written and directed by Oscar-nominated Christine Edzard and features dancers of the Royal Ballet, choreographed by Frederick Ashton. The stories are The Kitchen, in which household objects come to life, The Little Match Girl, set in London's East End in the late seventies, and Little Ida, a dance celebration featuring members of the Royal Ballet.
