Taake | Noregs Vaapen (3lp Box Set) | 3LP

Taake is a black metal band from Bergen, Norway, founded in 1995 by Hoest (Ørjan Stedjeberg). The band began as Thule in 1993 and changed its name to Taake in 1995, a name that refers to the fog around the seven mountains of Bergen. The profile describes Taake as a solo project of Hoest, who often handles all instruments on recordings and uses session musicians depending on the project.

Noregs Vaapen is a three disc vinyl box set by Taake, released by Svartekunst Produksjoner in Norway on 15 August 2025. It contains two LP discs of the album Noregs Vaapen, remixed and remastered, and a Kveld EP with one track from the album and live studio recordings from 2011. The set is limited to 500 copies worldwide, with music credited to Hoest, Ihsahn and Samoth and Bjørnar Erevik Nilsen as producer.
