Tangerine Dream | Sessions II | 2CD

Tangerine Dream is a German electronic band formed in Berlin in 1967, and is described as an exponent of the Berlin School of electronic rock music. Founded by the late Edgar Froese, the group moved from free-rock beginnings in the krautrock scene to a synthesizer and sequencer-based trio that signed to Virgin. Their music earned them a cult following during the mid to late 1970s.

This Tangerine Dream release, The Sessions II, is a 2 CD album reissue released by Invisible Hands Music in 2020. It features recordings of live performances by Hoshiko Yamane, Thorsten Quaeschning and Ulrich Schnauss, who are credited as composers and performers. The recordings were made live at the E-Live Festival in Oirschot, the Netherlands, on 21 and 22 October 2017, and the release is the second part of the Sessions series, dedicated to Edgar Froese.
