Tangerine Dream | Sessions III | CD

Tangerine Dream is a German electronic band formed in Berlin in 1967, and is described as an exponent of the Berlin School of electronic rock music. Founded by the late Edgar Froese, the group moved from free-rock beginnings in the krautrock scene to a synthesizer and sequencer-based trio that signed to Virgin. Their music earned them a cult following during the mid to late 1970s.

The Sessions III is a reissue album by Tangerine Dream, released as one CD on Invisible Hands Music on 6 November 2020. It is the eighth release in the Quantum Years series and includes two concert recordings, one made at the Elbphilharmonie in Hamburg in February 2018 and one at the Synästhesie III Festival in Berlin in November 2017. Ulrich Schnauss, Hoshiko Yamane and Thorsten Quaeschning are credited as composers and performers.
