The Aggrolites are a Los Angeles reggae and ska band formed in 2002 as a live backing band for Derrick Morgan. The band is an amalgamation of two earlier Los Angeles bands, the Vessels and The Rhythm Doctors, and has also backed Phyllis Dillon, Prince Buster and Tim Armstrong. Their debut album, Dirty Reggae, came out on Axe Records in 2003.
Dirty Reggae is a vinyl LP reissue by The Aggrolites, released by Pirates Press Records in the US in 2019. The album was written and produced by the band, and the credits include Jesse Wagner on lead guitar and vocals, Dan Boer on keyboards and Moog, and Roger Rivas on piano and organ. Pirates Press Records and Axe Records teamed up to repress the album, and it is in the reggae and rocksteady styles.
