The Dave Brubeck Quartet | Jazz Impressions of Eurasia | CD

Dave Brubeck was an American jazz pianist and composer whose quartet explored rhythm, melody and ensemble improvisation. His work with saxophonist Paul Desmond became a defining part of the group's recorded sound.

Released in 1958, Jazz Impressions of Eurasia was inspired by the quartet's international touring. The six-piece programme draws on places and experiences from those travels through original jazz compositions.
