The Firm | The Oakland Broadcast (2cd) | 2CD

The Firm is often considered an 80s rock supergroup, as all four of its musicians had already had success before the band formed. Lasting two years, it recorded two studio albums and toured three times, with some of the tours recorded and released in various forms. It served as a vehicle for Jimmy Page after the end of Led Zeppelin and for Paul Rodgers after his split from Bad Company, with Tony Franklin and Chris Slade also in the line-up.

The Oakland Broadcast is an unofficial two CD live album by The Firm on the Wickerman label, released on 11 June 2021. It is a live FM broadcast recorded at the Oakland-Alameda County Coliseum Arena in Oakland, California, on 15 March 1985. The credited line-up is Paul Rodgers on vocals, Jimmy Page on guitar, Tony Franklin on bass and Chris Slade on drums.
