The Foundations | Live On Air | CD

The Foundations were a British soul band active from 1967 to 1970, evolving out of a group called The Ramong Sound, also known as The Ramongs. Their first release, "Baby, Now That I've Found You", reached number 1, followed by "Back On My Feet Again" at number 18 and "Any Old Time (You're Lonely Or Sad)" at number 48. After lead singer Clem Curtis left in 1968, the group had further hits with "Build Me Up Buttercup" at number 2 and "In The Bad Bad Old Days" at number 8, and they disbanded towards the end of 1970.

Live On Air is an unofficial 1 CD album released in 2023 on London Calling. It collects live recordings made on Top of the Pops between 1967 and 1969, with lead vocals by Clem Curtis and Colin Young. Brian Matthew is credited as host.
