Geoff Love Banjos | 50 Sing-A-Long Wartime Hits | CD

Geoff Love was a British arranger and orchestra leader whose recordings made orchestral popular music accessible to a wide audience. His ensembles worked across film themes, dance music and familiar songs, using clear melodies, disciplined accompaniment and colourful instrumental settings to give well known repertoire a fresh presentation.

50 Sing-a-long Wartime Hits brings familiar songs into a banjo led programme associated with Geoff Love. The arrangements emphasise recognisable melodies and a lively rhythmic accompaniment, giving the repertoire a communal character that supports both listening and participation. The collection presents a broad selection within its wartime song theme.
