The La's were a Liverpool guitar band led by songwriter Lee Mavers. Drawing on early rock and roll and the melodic craft of British pop, their music pairs jangling guitars with distinctive vocals and compact songs, including the enduring single “There She Goes”. Their self-titled 1990 album is the group’s sole studio LP. It brings together There She Goes, Timeless Melody and Way Out with the extended closing song Looking Glass.
