Mekons | Deserted | 1LP

The Mekons are a British rock band formed in 1977 in Leeds, West Yorkshire. In the mid-1980s they changed their style to folk and folk rock. Their name is taken from the Mekon, the villainous Venusian from the British comic strip Dan Dare.

Deserted is a vinyl LP album by The Mekons, released by Glitterbeat Records in 2019 and issued in Germany. The album was recorded in the desert around Joshua Tree, California, and is the band's first full studio album in eight years. A download code is included with the LP.
