The Ocean | Heliocentric (2026 Reissue) | 2LP

The Ocean have been making music since 2001 from Berlin, Germany, which they describe as Ambient Soundtrack Doomrock. Their style combines hardcore punk and modern, technical metal with epic arrangements and classical instrumentation. Since the 2010 album Heliocentric, they have described themselves as a band rather than a large pool of contributing musicians.

Heliocentric is a double vinyl album by The Ocean, released in Germany by Pelagic Records and dated 2019. Robin Staps is credited with writing, arranging and producing the album, and Louis Jucker, Luc Hess and Loïc Rossetti are among the performers. The recordings were made between July and November 2009.
