The Rods is an American heavy metal band from Cortland, New York, formed in 1980.

Wild Dogs Unchained is a one-disc CD album by The Rods, released by Massacre Records on 19 September 2025 in a limited edition. The band produced the album, and David Feinstein is credited on guitar, lead vocals and songwriting, with Freddy Villano on bass, Carl Canedy on drums and Lonnie Park on keyboards. The styles are heavy metal and rock.
