Searchers | Sounds Like Bonus Tracks | 1LP

The Searchers grew out of the skiffle group The Army Generations, formed by guitarist John McNally in 1955, and were originally the backing group for singer Johnny Sandon before deciding to branch out on their own. Pye Records recording manager Tony Hatch signed them after hearing a demo, and their cover of The Drifters' 1961 hit "Sweets For My Sweet" was their first song and reached No. 1. The band performed what were intended to be their last shows in 2019, returned for farewell tours of the UK in 2023 and 2024, and announced their retirement on 22 March 2025.

Sounds Like Searchers is a 1 vinyl LP album by The Searchers, a remastered mono edition issued for the UK and Europe by BGO Records on 15 September 2023. Liner notes are credited to Tito Burns.
