Sisters Of Mercy | Original Album Series | 5CD

The Sisters Of Mercy are a rock band formed in Leeds, UK, in 1980 by singer Andrew Eldritch and guitarist Gary Marx. Their dark subject matter, literary references, cavernous reverb and black record sleeves led the music press to describe them as a goth rock act, though the band has always rejected that description. The band released its debut album, First And Last And Always, in March 1985, after five years of independent releases that had built a large cult following.

This five disc CD box set from Rhino Records is dated 2009 and has a listed release date of 9 March 2010. It holds five original albums by The Sisters Of Mercy, originally released in 1985, 1987, 1990, 1992 and 1993. Producers credited on the set include Andrew Eldritch, David M.
