The Smiths | Louder Than Bombs | 2LP

The Smiths were an English band whose recordings brought Morrissey's distinctive lyrics and vocals together with Johnny Marr's detailed guitar writing. Their music combines melodic pop structures with interlocking instrumental parts, allowing wit, observation and emotional tension to coexist within concise songs.

Originally released in 1987, Louder Than Bombs collects singles, B-sides and other material outside the band's main studio albums. The compilation offers a wider view of their recorded catalogue, bringing different sessions and songwriting moods together across a double-album programme.
