The Soft Pack began their career as the Muslims, releasing singles before negative comments about the name led them to change it. Their strummy sound stayed the same after the change, as the Muslims EP and self-titled debut album showed.
Strapped is a vinyl LP album by The Soft Pack, released in 2012 on the Mexican Summer label, and is a numbered edition. Matt Lamkin provides vocals, guitar and keyboards, with Dave Lantzman on bass, guitar and keyboards, and Brian Hill on drums and percussion. The Soft Pack are credited as producers, with Rob Barbato as co-producer.
