TIME | The Time (Red/White) | 2LP

The Time is a group from Minneapolis whose members came from two local funk units, Flyte Tyme and Enterprise. Their first Warner Bros. album, from 1981, was created almost single-handedly by Prince, who wrote and played on tracks he produced under an early pseudonym. By 1982 the group had established itself on the live circuit, and the original members reunited in 1990 for the album Pandemonium on the Paisley Park label.

This is an expanded two-LP edition of the debut album by The Time, released by Warner Records on 16 July 2021. The album was written and produced with Prince, who also performed almost all of it, with vocals from Morris Day. The second LP has six tracks, including original single edits of five of the album's songs, with Cool in two parts.
