Verve The | Voyager 1 (Rsd 25) | 1LP

The Verve were an English rock band formed in Wigan. The core members were Richard Ashcroft on vocals, Nick McCabe on guitar, Simon Jones on bass and Peter Salisbury on drums. Early material leaned towards guitar-based soundscapes influenced by My Bloody Valentine, and the band later became a more conventional alt-rock group.

This is a single LP Record Store Day 2025 re-release on Virgin of Voyager 1 by The Verve, a live recording made in New York and London in 1992 and first issued in 1993. It was made to introduce the band to the American market through Virgin's Vernon Yard Recordings and was designed to look like an unofficial pirate release. It is listed in the rock genre with shoegaze, psychedelic rock and space rock styles, and its release date is 12 April 2025.
