Thelonious Monk And Gerry Mulligan | Mulligan Meets Monk | LP

Thelonious Monk was an American jazz pianist and composer, born in Rocky Mount, North Carolina, in 1917 and died in Weehawken, New Jersey, in 1982. He had an idiosyncratic improvisational style, with dissonant harmonies, angular melodic twists and a percussive piano attack, and is often regarded as one of the founders of bebop.

Mulligan Meets Monk is a limited edition reissue of a jazz album by Thelonious Monk and Gerry Mulligan on one vinyl LP, released by Culture Factory on 21 March 2025. Jazz is the only genre given for the release.
