Turner, Tina | Queen Of Rock N Roll | CD

Tina Turner was an American rock singer, actress and author, born on 26 November 1939 in Brownsville, Tennessee, and she died on 24 May 2023 in Küsnacht, Switzerland. She began her career in the 1960s with Ike Turner, with hits including 'River Deep, Mountain High'. Her career was relaunched in the 1980s, and the single 'What's Love Got to Do with It' and the album Private Dancer put her back into the mainstream.

This is a three CD compilation by Tina Turner, released in Europe by Parlophone in November 2023. It contains 55 tracks drawn from her singles, from her 1975 cover of 'Whole Lotta Love' to the 2020 Kygo remix of 'What's Love Got to Do With It'. It is the first time her complete singles collection has been released as one set, and it includes a new version of 'Something Beautiful Remains', retitled 'Something Beautiful' and reworked by Terry Britten. The compilation was produced by Olivia Thomas, and Bryan Adams wrote the foreword.
