Tommy James & The Shondells | The Essentials | CD

Tommy James and the Shondells are an American group whose recordings span 1960s pop, rock and psychedelia. Their songs combine concise melodic hooks with changing studio textures, moving from direct dance-oriented singles into more elaborately arranged pop recordings.

The Essentials brings together selected recordings from the group's established catalogue. The compilation places their early pop sound alongside later material, offering a compact retrospective of the singles and arrangements that define different stages of their recording career.
