T'Pau is a British pop rock group who had a string of Top 40 hits in the UK in the late 1980s. The band formed in 1986 in Shropshire and took its name from a Vulcan elder in the science fiction series Star Trek. Carol Decker is listed as the group's vocalist on the sleeves of the albums Bridge of Spies and Rage.
Essential is a 3 CD compilation of T'Pau released by UMC on August 10, 2021. It was curated with Carol Decker and covers the career from the 1987 debut single 'Heart And Soul' through to 'Guess Who's Sorry Now' from 2021. The set features the UK chart number one 'China In Your Hand', every other Top 40 hit, and recordings from the albums Bridge Of Spies, Rage and The Promise.
