U2 | Shadows And Tall Trees | CD

U2 are an Irish rock band from Dublin, formed in 1976. After Steve Lillywhite produced their first three albums, they hired Daniel Lanois and Brian Eno to produce The Unforgettable Fire and The Joshua Tree, which put them onto charts all over the world. After the 80s ended they reinvented their sound with Achtung Baby, adding electronic elements to their rock music. They were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2005 as performers.

Shadows And Tall Trees (The Contract Demos 1978-1983) is a single-disc CD unofficial release by U2 on Sutra, released 3 April 2026. The title describes the contents as contract demos from 1978 to 1983, and the styles listed are new wave and post-punk.
