Various Artists | Studio Rio Presents: The Brazil Connection | CD

The Berman Brothers are producers whose Studio Rio project brings established American recordings into a Brazilian musical setting. The collaboration uses original vocal performances alongside newly recorded accompaniment, connecting soul and pop repertoire with bossa nova and samba-derived arrangements.

Released in 2014, Studio Rio Presents: The Brazil Connection reworks recordings by several artists through new Brazilian accompaniment. The album preserves the source vocals while changing their instrumental surroundings, offering a series of reinterpretations rather than newly sung cover versions.
