Voivod | Killing Technology | CD

Voïvod is a Canadian thrash metal band formed in 1982 in Jonquière, Quebec. Their music draws on NWOBHM, hardcore and progressive rock, and is identifiable by unusual time signatures, dissonant guitar chords and lyrical themes drawn from post-apocalyptic literature, cold war politics and science fiction. Denis Bélanger, known as Snake, is one of the founding members.

This is a limited CD reissue of Killing Technology by Voïvod, released by High Roller Records in Germany on 21 March 2025 and limited to 1500 copies. The album was first released in 1987 on Noise Records, and was recorded and mixed at Musiclab in West Berlin from 22 November to 14 December 1986. It was produced by Harris Johns and Voïvod, and the credited performers are Away, Blacky, Piggy and Snake.
