Yawning Balch | Volume Three | CD

Yawning Balch grew out of a day of jamming in November 2022, when Bob Balch went to Joshua Tree with Yawning Man, intending to call the session Yawning Balch. No riffs were planned, and the band jammed for five hours and recorded enough material to fill two full-length LPs.

Volume Three is a one disc CD album by Yawning Balch, released by Heavy Psych Sounds on 7 March 2025. It was captured on 20 April 2024 during a five hour jam session in Joshua Tree, California, and no overdubs were needed. Bob Balch and Gary Arce play guitar, Mario Lalli plays bass and Bill Stinson plays drums. The release is in the psychedelic rock and stoner rock styles.
