Yawning Balch | Volume Three | LP

Yawning Balch grew out of a day of jamming in November 2022, when Bob Balch went to Joshua Tree with Yawning Man, intending to call the session Yawning Balch. No riffs were planned, and the band jammed for five hours and recorded enough material to fill two full-length LPs.

Volume Three is a vinyl LP album by Yawning Balch on the Heavy Psych Sounds label, released on 7 March 2025. It is a single-disc release, captured on 20 April 2024 during a five-hour jam session in Joshua Tree, CA. Credits include Mario Lalli on bass, Bill Stinson on drums, and Bob Balch and Gary Arce on guitar.
