YOASOBI | Idol | 1LP

YOASOBI are the Japanese duo of producer and songwriter Ayase and singer ikura. Their music adapts written stories into electronic pop songs, combining rapid changes in arrangement with melodic vocals and a close relationship between the narrative source and the music.

Originally released as a single in 2023, Idol was created as the opening theme for the anime Oshi no Ko. The song's changing rhythmic and vocal sections reflect the story's contrasts between public image and private identity; this sea glass vinyl edition brings together five versions of “Idol” and three versions of “Tabun”.
