Yusef Lateef | Psychicemotus (Verve) | 1LP Gatefold Sleeve

Yusef Lateef was an American multi-instrumentalist and composer whose jazz recordings embraced a broad range of musical traditions. Alongside saxophone and flute, he explored unusual instruments and timbres, bringing blues feeling, improvisation and ideas from music around the world into his work. Psychicemotus pairs Lateef’s own compositions with standards and an adaptation of Erik Satie’s First Gymnopédie. This Verve By Request edition returns to the eight-track Impulse! album.
