Claude Debussy was a French composer, born on 22 August 1862 at Saint-Germain-en-Laye and died on 25 March 1918 in Paris. He is sometimes seen as the first Impressionist composer, although he vigorously rejected the term. He was among the most influential composers of the late 19th and early 20th centuries.

Debussy Songs 3 is a 1 CD album of Debussy's songs released on Hyperion in 2014, and it is the third volume in the label's series. It features soprano Jennifer France and baritone Jonathan McGovern, with Malcolm Martineau as pianist and booklet notes by Roger Nichols. The recording was made at All Saints' Church, East Finchley, London, in February 2013.
