Dissection | Reinkaos | CD

Dissection is a metal band from Strömstad, Sweden, founded in 1989 by Jon Nödtveidt and Peter Palmdahl. The band combined various extreme metal styles with a melodic sensibility and a melancholic atmosphere, and it refused to be classed as death or black metal, calling its music Metal of Death. Reinkaos was the band's third album, released in 2006, and the band ended that year.

This is a single CD reissue of Reinkaos, released in stereo on Darkness Shall Rise Productions on 18 September 2026. Jon Nödtveidt and Frater Nemidial wrote the songs, and the album was produced by Dissection with Nightmare Industries. Nödtveidt also provided vocals and guitar, with Set Teitan on guitar and Tomas Asklund on drums.
