Genesis | New York By The Pound Vol. 2 (2lp) | 2LP

Genesis were formed at Charterhouse School in Godalming, Surrey, in 1967, and are among the top 30 highest-selling recording artists of all time. Their early work, with founder member Peter Gabriel as vocalist, was characterised by complex song structures and elaborate instrumentation. After Gabriel left in August 1975, Phil Collins took on lead vocals, and the remaining three members moved into more accessible pop-based music, which brought huge growth in the band's popularity through the 1980s and early 1990s.

This is a double LP titled New York By The Pound Felt Forum NYC 1973 • Volume Two, a live recording of Genesis at the Felt Forum in New York City on 22 November 1973, taken from a live FM radio broadcast. Bonus tracks come from a live FM broadcast recorded at the Paris Theatre in London on 2 March 1972. It was issued by Parachute Recording Company in 2023 as an unofficial stereo release.
