Sufjan Stevens | Illinois | VINYL

Sufjan Stevens is an American singer, songwriter and composer whose work moves between intimate folk, electronics and elaborate orchestration. His recordings combine detailed storytelling, spiritual inquiry and exceptional arranging imagination.

Illinois turns local history, imagined lives and personal reflection into an expansive cycle of orchestral folk-pop. Chicago, Casimir Pulaski Day and John Wayne Gacy, Jr. sit among elaborate instrumental passages and intimate songs, presented across a double LP in a trifold sleeve.

Edition: 2LP. Label: Asthmatic Kitty.
