Rod Stewart | Swing Fever | VINYL

Rod Stewart is a British singer whose raspy, expressive voice has moved effortlessly between rock, soul, folk and standards. His recordings combine conversational phrasing with an instinct for both intimate storytelling and large-scale performance.

Swing Fever teams Rod Stewart with Jools Holland for a lively set of swing-era standards. The thirteen performances favour buoyant ensemble playing and familiar melodies, including Lullaby Of Broadway, Pennies From Heaven and Ain’t Misbehavin’.
