Melvins | Houdini | VINYL

Melvins are an American band whose slow, heavy riffs and experimental instincts influenced grunge and sludge rock. Their recordings combine physical intensity with abrupt shifts in rhythm and texture.

Houdini concentrates Melvins’ heavy riffs and unconventional rhythms into a varied album programme. Slow, crushing passages sit beside more direct songs, revealing the band’s ability to connect dense weight with unexpected changes of texture and structure.
