Del Rey, Lana | Violet Bent Backwards Over | CD

Lana Del Rey is an American singer and songwriter whose recordings connect pop with cinematic arrangements and references to American popular culture. Her expressive, often restrained vocals support songs concerned with memory, romance and personal identity.

Violet Bent Backwards Over the Grass features Lana Del Rey reading fourteen poems from her poetry collection. Music by Jack Antonoff accompanies the spoken-word performances, giving the release a different form from her sung studio albums.
