Laura Misch | Sample The Sky | CD

Laura Misch is a London-based singer, saxophonist and producer whose recordings connect jazz-influenced playing with electronic and ambient textures. Her music brings voice, breath, field recordings and layered instrumentation together, placing an emphasis on atmosphere and the relationship between sound and environment.

Released in 2023, Sample the Sky develops Misch's combination of vocals, saxophone and electronic production. The album uses recorded environments and carefully layered arrangements to connect its songs, moving between song-based passages and more spacious instrumental textures.
