Mother Love Bone | Crown Of Thorns… Live Dallas ‘89 (Picture Disc) | LP

Mother Love Bone was formed by Jeff Ament, Bruce Fairweather and Stone Gossard after Green River split up. The band attracted attention in Seattle and early international interest with the Shine EP. As they prepared their major label debut album Apple, lead singer Andrew Wood died of a heroin overdose, leaving the band in tatters. Gossard and Ament later joined Matt Cameron and Chris Cornell to record the Temple Of The Dog tribute album, which also featured Eddie Vedder on some tracks, and this led to the formation of Pearl Jam.

This is a picture disc 12 inch vinyl LP of Crown Of Thorns... Live, an unofficial release on the Rox Vox label in 2025. It is a recording of a 1989 performance by Mother Love Bone at Tommy's Bar in Deep Ellum, Dallas, captured by ZRock-FM. The release date is December 19, 2025.
