NAS | Illmatic XX | VINYL

Nas is an American rapper whose precise observation, internal rhyme and narrative detail established him as one of hip-hop’s most respected lyricists. His recordings combine literary writing with carefully chosen production and a strong sense of New York identity.

Illmatic places Nas’s detailed storytelling over production by a group of influential New York beatmakers. Its ten tracks form a concise portrait of Queensbridge life and youthful ambition.
