Paul Mccartney Andwings | One Hand Clapping | 2LP

Wings was a band formed in late 1971 as a successful endeavour for ex-Beatle Paul McCartney. Its core members were Denny Laine on guitar and vocals, Linda McCartney on keyboards and vocals, and Paul McCartney on guitar and vocals, although the line-up often changed over the years. Other members included drummers Denny Seiwell, Geoff Britton, Joe English and Steve Holly, and guitarists Henry McCullough, Jimmy McCulloch and Laurence Juber. Although it was primarily McCartney's band, all members shared songwriting and vocals, and it was for a while billed as Paul McCartney & Wings.

One Hand Clapping is a two LP live recording by Paul McCartney & Wings, released in 2024 on the MPL label in a remastered stereo edition. The sessions were recorded at Abbey Road Studios in London in 1974, with Paul McCartney credited as producer, Del Newman conducting, and Howie Casey and the Tuxedo Brass Band featured. Discs 1 and 2 are newly mixed and include 12 tracks that did not appear in the original film.
