Philip Glass | The Hours | 2LP

Philip Glass is an American composer whose work is distinguished by repeating musical figures and gradually changing patterns. His recordings span concert music, opera and film, using rhythmic motion and harmonic shifts to create a distinctive sense of time.

The Hours presents Philip Glass's music for the film of the same name. Repeating piano figures and layered instrumental writing support the score's reflective atmosphere.
