Wilhelm Kempff / Ferdinand Leitner / Berliner Philharmoniker | Beethoven: Piano Concertos Nos. 4 & 5 | CD

Ludwig van Beethoven was a German composer whose work helped reshape orchestral and chamber music. His writing combines expressive melodies with dramatic contrasts, rhythmic development and carefully constructed musical forms, giving performers opportunities for both individual character and ensemble interplay.

Beethoven’s Piano Concertos Nos. 4 and 5 are presented by Wilhelm Kempff with Ferdinand Leitner and the Berliner Philharmoniker. The music connects lyrical piano passages with changing orchestral textures, developing each concerto through three movements. This release is on CD.
