Death Cab For Cutie | Asphalt Meadows | 1LP

Death Cab for Cutie formed in Bellingham, Washington, with singer and songwriter Ben Gibbard at the centre of the group. Their alternative rock pairs detailed, often bittersweet lyrics with melodic guitar arrangements and an evolving studio sound.

Asphalt Meadows is Death Cab for Cutie's tenth studio album. The record extends the band's melodic alternative-rock approach, with songs including Roman Candles, Here to Forever and Foxglove Through the Clearcut showing contrasting textures and changes of scale.
