Didonato, Joyce | Songplay | 2LP

Joyce DiDonato is an American mezzo-soprano whose work spans opera, concert repertoire and projects that cross musical boundaries. Her expressive singing and attention to text connect classical technique with a strong sense of communication and drama.

Songplay brings Joyce DiDonato together with musicians from opera, jazz and tango. The programme reimagines familiar melodies through improvisation and musical exchange, placing classical vocal technique in a more fluid collaborative setting.
